is it just me or does this hair-do look a bit like Conan?

I flippin love this kid! He is so sweet, smart, beautiful and full of personality. (can you tell he has some proud parents?) What he's been up to lately:

• He enjoys cleaning out his toes while sitting on the potty.
• says "thank you, much."
• still loves Finding Nemo, and Cars.
• Can identify and say the sound of letters A, B, C, D, H, J, K, O, P, R. ( I swear by Leapfrog)
• Would draw all day if I let him.
• thinks riding in Poppy's car is "fun."
• loves singing songs. ie. popcorn popping, itsy bitsy spider, bumblebee song, head, shoulders, knees, and toes, ring around the rosy, and old MacDonald.

Today I found...

• Jack's "Mack" truck in my bathroom cosmetic drawer. (possibly his favorite drawer to dimantle.)

• Jack's toothbrush in my undies drawer. (I was wondering where that went)

• Change in my shoe

This all happened in about a 10 minute span, so we'll see what other goodies I find throughout the day. Maybe I'll find my favorite gold pendant that I swear Jack hid, or threw away. I just can't prove it yet.

Not one, but TWO.

Jack's birthday was yesterday and we celebrated all day long. He woke up to balloons and strawberry waffles. Poppy and Cindy were in town so we had breakfast and opened presents from them; before they traveled back to NM. We then released Jack's balloons outside with his birthday wishes written on them. He did surprisingly well with that.

What a little poser. I am glad he liked his shirt as much as me. I got the tutorial from Ambrosia Girl.

He hasn't mastered the classic "two" sign, so we improvised. Then we partied with family, pizza, german chocolate cheescake, "ice cream" cone cake, presents, and more balloons. He did good blowing out his candles, it was so cute. We had hurt feelings for a sec. Hooray for presents!

I love waterproof mascara, this particular kind: It's cheap, available everywhere, and goes on like a glove. Oh it also keeps my lashes curled. If I don't curl them I look like Snuffaluffagus, see here: Like I said I wish I could "quit" waterproof mascara, it's tearing up my eyelashes, but its just sooooo good...

To my future dream home

Please come equipped with an exercise room...pretty please?! (well I suppose larger bathrooms would help too.)

*Brent and I would la-love a treadmill, but haven't the room. *I would la-love to have enough room for my exercise videos. My something (arm, leg, foot, bum) is always hitting something. (couch, toy, kid, table) *Brent would la-love to have an open space for his new fitness adventure.

You see the problem. We will figure it out though because we do la-love our home.

Making Merry

I was told (by Brent) that I desperately needed to make a new post and rid 'carterdomain' of the, and I quote "damn bow" SOOOO. Here I am in my hometown making merry with the family. We went on a sleigh ride up in Durango, and had a good time enjoying the snow, the company and the scenery. It was beautiful. Merry Christmas!
