Presently: frequent urination, and upset stomach May: expanding waistline July: one word, KANKLES September: loss of oxygen October: Carter baby #2! We are pretty excited for the baby portion, but as you can see the pregnancy body... not so much! (yes Brent too, we ALL suffer)
Last weekend Brent and I went home to Nor New Mex to visit family and for me to get a little girl's weekend. It was short but perfect. Amy and I drove up to Durango and stayed with Becca, where the following day we went snowshoeing. It was fun fighting for the front, (because the last person might get snatched by a mountain lion, duh?!) wondering if we were at the end of the "ridge" yet, taking lots of pictures, drinking from a camkelbak, (love those things) falling kind of a lot, and seeing an elk. Which if any of you were wondering; an elk is not the male version of a deer. huh?! who would've known? someone raised around hunting, and residing in Utah? (hunter's paradise.) And I still did not know.
I finally watched the last three episodes of Pushing Daisies that ABC basically refused to air (despite their contract) until last summer; but they are finally available on dvd now.
This is such a great show, its hard not to ask yourself why? why did this show get cut? boo. (its all the reality tv:) just sayin' but really this series is awesome, wholesome, creative and quarky. The music is phenomenal, the style of series is all its own, the narration is fantastic, (its Jim Dale) the dialogue is quick witty banter and the characters are perfect. I honestly can't pick my favorite character--I love em all. but the aunts (the Darling Mermaid Darlings) hold a particular place in my heart. Oh, and don't get me started on Chuck's clothes, I kinda want to be her. So if you haven't seen this, will you promise me you will? (just lie to me and nod your heads yes)
